Dear Reader:
Happy Thanksgiving! The cold weather is here, and for many people that means comfort food and warming beverages. Check out these delicious holiday recipes that are incredibly quick, easy, and good for you.
Because I love cooking, I’m always interested in great new recipes. If you have a favorite recipe (or favorite plant-based cookbook) that you’d like to share, we’d love to hear about it. Send us your suggestions or recipes, and we may use your recipe in an upcoming newsletter, or review your favorite cookbook for our website.
This month I review the book Forks Over Knives, the companion-book to the recent documentary film. The book has some wonderful recipes, and great information overall, so be sure to check it out from the library, or pick up your own copy.
During the cold-and-flu season, I receive many questions about the best nutritional supplements to take. People are especially curious about what makes Juice Plus+® different than regular vitamins. I answer that question in this month’s Q and A, and provide links to some research about vitamin supplementation and women’s health.
Also, be sure to check out my recently posted story, video, and photos on the Live Life to the Plus+ site.
Enjoy the season, and here’s to your health!
