Warts can be dealt with topically.
Because of warts’ position in the skin layer, they have a poor blood supply and can best be reached topically. The best way to dissolve them is to buy a 17.5% salicylic acid solution from the drugstore, and use some duct tape to completely cover the wart. This solution is found in the foot care section and labeled as callous dissolver.
Carefully use the applicator to cover the wart with the solution. Cut a piece of the duct tape that is al least 2 times the size of the wart (bigger is ok). Cover the wart and press the tape in place so that it binds tightly to the skin. Remove the tape and repeat thes every 12 hours. On the 7th day, the wart usually peels off with the tape.
